I’m a lifelong Kentuckian and a proud resident of Boone County, where I’ve lived for the past twenty years. My wife (my college sweetheart of twenty-two years) and I share three children and make our home on a farm in Burlington. We raise horses and live a quiet, grounded life rooted in care, stewardship, and community.
After high school, I pursued higher education with a growing passion for language and its power to shape civic change. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from Northern Kentucky University in 2008 and 2011, then spent a decade teaching writing and rhetoric at community colleges in Cincinnati and Middletown, Ohio. In 2024, I completed my MBA at NKU and transitioned into clinical research.
I’ve never felt that I fit neatly into either political party, but I identify as a Libertarian Democrat. I believe people should have the freedom to live their lives as they choose, while also recognizing the government’s role in ensuring fairness and providing essential support. I champion personal rights like free speech, privacy, and bodily autonomy—alongside strong public schools, healthcare access, and worker protections. I value both independence and civic responsibility, grounded in the belief that liberty and the common good must rise together.
As a candidate for the Kentucky House, I represent the middle majority of Kentuckians—Democrats and Republicans alike—who share more with each other than with the extremes of either party.
